The McNay is pleased to provide beautiful spaces on our grounds for formally posed, portrait-style photography sessions. These sessions require a fee that helps the Museum maintain its grounds and facilities.
Examples of formally-posed sessions include, but are not limited to:
- posed family portraits
- wedding, bridal, and engagement photos
- quinceañera photos
- graduation photos
- maternity photos
- holiday card portraits
- special event photos

Please note, if a photographer or a client has more than one session per day, the fee is charged per session.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Photographers must check in at the Museum Front Desk before proceeding with the session. You may present the eticket (printed copy or show ticket on phone), the receipt, or provide the name of the person who purchased the pass to search for the order.
During times when the Museum is closed to the public but the grounds are open, a McNay security guard will assist you with check-in prior to your session.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, photography groups of 10 or more people are not allowed.
All general admission, special admission, program fees, event tickets, donations, photography passes, and memberships are final and non-refundable. Purchasing an Outdoor Photography pass indicates you have read and agreed to these terms.
